Whitney to go on ‘Oprah’

Whitney Houston is sitting down with the diva of daytime TV.
People.com reports that the singer will be the first guest of the new season on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” This will be her first sit-down in nearly seven years and Oprah is calling it “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.” Honestly we can’t exactly say she’s wrong. Everyone wants to know what’s up with Whitney.
Obviously the chat will be to promote Whitney’s upcoming album, but there’s no word on whether she’ll be performing any of the singles from I Look To You.
What we can expect is that Oprah will be asking the questions swimming around in everyone’s minds. To see how Whitney answers those inquires, you’ll have to watch the season premiere of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” airs September 14.  Check your local listing for air times. In the meantime, listen to Whitney’s newest leaked single, "Salute."
