Omarion said he left Young Money

Omarion is speaking out about the real reason he’s no longer part of the Young Money crew.

It was reported yesterday that Lil’ Wayne’s imprint had given O the boot, but there weren’t any details on why.  Now, Omarion has released a statement telling a slightly different story.

“I asked to be released from the label to pursue other opportunities that were recently presented to me,” he insisted. “Because of our relationship, Lil’ Wayne had no issue with us ending our business relationship and released me from the label.”

Omarion is also denying claims made by label president Mack Maine that he leaked single featuring Weezy called “I Get It In.” And he’s making it clear that things ended on good terms.

“I appreciate my relationship with Young Money/ Cash Money and look forward to doing business in the future,” he said. “Lil’ Wayne and I have nothing but love for each other, there is no beef.”

But with no label home, many may be wondering what will become of Ollusion. According to Omarion, we’ll have to find that out next week when he plans to make a big announcement.
