Sean Paul cancels show

Sean Paul has been forced to pull a no-show today.

The reggaeton singer was supposed to perform in Brooklyn, New York, for the Martin Luther King Jr. concert series. Unfortunately, he developed laryngitis and his doctor ordered him to sit this one out.

“I am really disappointed that I will not be able to appear,” Sean apologized in a statement. “I’ve been working really hard these last few weeks to deliver the album [Imperial Blaze] to my fans. I was looking forward to performing the new tracks.”

Sean’s been making the rounds on a promotional tour for his fourth album. Several weeks were recently added to the cross-country engagement. Some believe the rigorous schedule may be what led to his throat condition, which he’ll be seeking treatment for.

Luckily for Sean, he’ll get a chance to make this show up to fans next year when he’s slated to perform during the concert series again.
