The Cannons consider kids

Now that Mariah Carey has found a reason to live, she’s thinking about raising a family.
The singer told In Touch Weekly that she doubted she’d ever live to see her 40th birthday, but that changed when she met her hubby Nick Cannon.
"Honestly, I never thought I’d live this long. I always thought that I wouldn’t be here at this point. I was thinking, ‘Okay, I’ve got another year of my life left. This has got to be the end of it,’" she shared. “Finally, he was like, "Stop talking like that."
Since she’ll be sticking around for a while, the couple sees mini Mimis in their future.
“It’s at the forefront of our minds. We’re very close,” Nick admitted, pointing out that, ideally, they’d like to have two children. However, Mariah wants to take parenthood how it comes.
"Of course, we’d be happy with one. I want to be able to manage the right amount of attention,” Mimi said. We are so busy – if you have six kids running around, no one gets what they need. Kids need a lot of attention."
