If you loved designer Rachel Roy’s new Macy’s line, then you’ll be happy to hear that she’s already back in the lab drumming up ideas for the spring. She recently spoke to style blog FabSugar about the future of RACHEL Rachel Roy and Fall Fashion Week.
"For spring, it’s just stuff I love. I love tie-dye," she told them. "I’m doing tie-dye jersey and tie-dye suede."
While the tie-dye may be a nod to her Northern California upbringing, her other ideas for spring ("Florescent colors and prints") are straight up SoCal.
"I’m a big print girl and I love mixing prints in an odd way," Rachel said.
Trench dresses (like the one you can sort of see in the picture) will also be available next season. And the jewelry she’s rocking? All hers.
"It’s available in November," Rachel said of the goods. "This [skull] was my muse for jewelry. So I put him on everything. And you know how people say the evil eye brings good luck? I wanted to kind of change the idea that skulls aren’t bringing you bad luck. Here, they’re giving you good luck."
