Master P has high expectations of young men, so he’s helping one former thug turn his life around on a VH1 special.
We can’t knock Percy Miller’s hustle: He went from hustling to hip-hop, and over the years he’s become something of a mogul. Now he’s pushing Torrie Jackson, to straighten up his act to on “No Excuses.” The half-hour special airs October 26 on VH1.
So who’s Torrie? He’s a former gang banger who just won’t step up and do what he needs to in order to be a good father and provider. His constant excuses are have his girlfriend at her wit’s end. If he can’t get himself together and find a job to support his son, she’s leaving him.
On his own, Torrie is easily knocked down by the slightest obstacles, but Master P is stepping in to give him that nudge in the right direction through a series of activities. Every task, including handing out fliers in a lobster suit, is geared at showing Torrie what he can really do if he’s willing to put in the effort.
