Tough competition at the BET Hip-Hop Awards

BET is about to show everyone what Black star power is all about when it airs the BET Hip-Hop Awards tomorrow night.
One of the top contenders tomorrow will be Kanye West, who has nine nominations. But he’ll be facing the same pool of competitors (namely, Lil’ Wayne, T.I. and Jay-Z) who also dominate the award categories.

The big mystery for Tuesday will be who gets, DJ of the Year, though. DJ AM, who recently passed away due to a drug overdose, is up for the award. He’s facing off against DJ Khaled, DJ Tony Neal and Atlanta’s mixtape king DJ Drama.
But while artists are sweating it out as they wait to see who won, the audience will also get to enjoy performances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ludacris and Fabalous. Watch the video of them below to see how they each got ready to take the stage.
Tiny and Toya will be taking the stage as presenters, as will Monica. Diddy’s Dirty Money will also be making its first onstage TV appearance because they’ve also been pegged as presenters. And watch out for Fonzworth Bentley who will be handing out an award as well.
