Tiger apologizes for ‘transgressions’

Tiger Woods has issued a public apology about unnamed offenses against his wife and child, but another alleged mistress has been revealed.
The golfer’s family life been under more scrutiny than ever before since his SUV crash during a hasty retreat from his Florida home last week. There are rumors that his wife, Elin Nordegren, had confronted him before the accident about reports he was carrying on a sexual relationship with a woman named Rachel Uchitel.
Tiger has remained mum on the matter until today, when he posted a public apology to his family on his Web site.
“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Tiger wrote in the statement. “I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family.”
Tiger didn’t specify what betrayals he’s committed, but he said he will try to change his ways in the future.
“I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves,” Tiger resolved. “I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it’s difficult.”
This follows news that cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs had proof to support her claims that she and Tiger had slept together at least 20 times since April 2007. She claimed to have to saved 300 intimate text messages and a number of voice mails from Tiger.

Usmagazine.com released one such message today, which had Tiger asking Jamiee to change her cell phone information before Elin caught them.

If that weren’t enough, another woman has been outed as been as one of Tiger’s jumpoffs.  A source told Life & Style that Kalika Mouqin, marketing manager The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas, got with Tiger at least once between October 23 and 25.
“They’ve hooked up a bunch of times. Tiger told Kalika that married life isn’t all it’s built up to be,” the tipster claims. “He said he wasn’t happy in his marriage or his home life and that there was just so much pressure on him.”
Kalika, on the other hand, isn’t saying anything one way or other about the alleged affair.

“It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other,” she dodged. “At this time, I’m just choosing to focus on my job.”
