Tony Stark has new foes and friends in the trailer for Iron Man 2 that recently hit the ’Net.
We’ve been waiting for the first glimpses of Iron Man 2 to come out ever since we saw that clip of Samuel L. Jackson in the original.
For this highly anticipated sequel, the issue of national security may again be at the forefront of the film. The trailer starts with Tony (played by Robert Downey Jr.) speaking at what appears to be a hearing.
Tony announces that he’s “successfully privatized world peace,” but a villain called Whiplash (played by Mickey Rourke).
Don Cheadle has replaced Terrence Howard as James “Rhodey” Rhodes for this movie. For this role he’ll be suiting up to become War Machine, a slightly less sleek version of Tony’s heavy metal design.
And don’t blink, or you’ll miss Samuel’s brief appearance in this clip.
