Whitney Houston’s is about to bring her career full-circle with a new album and a world tour.
The diva is celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut album by releasing Whitney Houston – The Deluxe Anniversary Edition today. Along with the songs that catapulted her to music stardom, she’s included five bonus tracks, like a live recording of “Greatest Love of All.”
This comes about a week after news that I Look To You went double platinum.
As a special present to fans, Whitney also threw in a DVD featuring three rare TV performances and four of her music vides. The extra disc is rounded out by new interviews of Whitney and Clive, who reflects back on the first time he heard the then-unknown icon in the clip below.
And as her new album hits store shelves, Whitney has also announced plans for a world tour set to start next month.
The Nothing But Love Tour kicks off February 6 in Seoul, South Korea, where she’ll play two shows at the Olympic 1 Gymnasium. Next it’s on to Japan for shows in Tokyo and Osaka.
While no U.S. shows have been announced at this time, the tour also make stops in Paris, London, Rome and Stockholm. For a full list of tour dates go to Whitney’s official Web site.
