Oscar nominee Mo’Nique is going back to her roots by hosting a comedy showcase next week.
Mo will emcee “Shaquille O’Neal Presents: All-Star Comedy Jam.” Filming February 12 in Dallas, the show features comedians such as Paul Mooney, Mike Epps and Corey Holcomb, just to name a few. The event comes on the eve of the NBA All-Star Game.
The Comedy Jam is being produced by Codeblack Entertaintment, who picked Mo’Nique to host because of her chemistry with Shaq and all the other talent lined up for the show.
“We’re looking to make comedy history,” said Codeblack CEO Jeff Clanagan. "It’s a testament to the strength of the All-Star Comedy Jam franchise that Codeblack and AEG Live locked in a comedienne as talented as Mo’Nique."
