Dr. Dre suing Death Row

Dr. Dre wants the new Death Row Records to pay what they owe him for The Chronic.
TMZ.com reports that the rapper claims he hasn’t seen any royalties from the album in 14 years. He recently filed a federal suit against the label, which was recently resurrected from bankruptcy.
According to court documents Dre charges that Death Row has been selling downloads of The Chronic, Chronic Re-Lit and From the Vault without his consent. Now he’s seeking at $75,000 from the label.
There is no word as to why he’s waited so long to sue, but there’s speculation that it could have to do with the fact that Suge Knight is no longer the head of Death Row Records.
