Jennifer Hudson is getting fit for her next starring role the old-fashioned way: diet and exercise.
According to Bossip.com the new mom has dropped 56 pounds in order to play Winnie Mandela in Winnie. She credits her new frame to her current weight loss program.
“I’ve been exercising and trying to stay consistent,” Jen said. “I’m jogging and eating right.”
Reportedly, Jen’s been working out with Harvey Pasternak, who got Jessica Simpson in shape for Dukes of Hazzard. Jen confessed that it can be hard to stay motivated, but when she feels the need to get active she “hops up and goes for it.”
Jen first showed off her new body during the taping of the BET Honors in January, when she performed for Whitney Houston. We couldn’t believe how the curvaceous diva had transformed, but it’s a great look for her.
