This summer the air will be filled with the sweet sounds of Maxwell and Jill Scott.

The pair have announced that they’ll be heading out for a 20-city tour this summer, and Cleveland, Ohio, is the first stop.  That show will take place on May 21 at the Quicken Loans Arena. From there it’s off to Detroit’s Palace of Auburn Hills (May 22) and United Center in Chicago (May 25).

Maxwell will be hitting the road riding a wave of acclaim from his long-awaited latest release BLACKsummers’ night. Those who say the BET Honors already know audiences will be in for quite a show.

Meanwhile Jill Scott will be giving fans a taste of her upcoming release, The Light of the Sun, during her set. But don’t think she won’t be hitting ticket holders with songs from her incredible 10-year career too. Definitely expect to hear tunes from Who Is Jill Scott? and Beautifully Human.

The duo will also take the stage in Atlanta on June 12 and Washington, D.C., on June 18. The tour wraps up June 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tickets for the show go on sale at LiveNation.com as early as March 12. For a full list of tour dates, hit up
    Maxwell’s page on MySpace.com.
