Mo’Nique talks open marriage

Mo’Nique is determined to stick with her husband, Sidney Hicks, whether he’s faithful or not.
"Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney,” she said during her sit-down for Barbara Walter’s 29th Oscar Special, airing this Sunday on ABC.  "Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’"

Mo, who is nominated for an Academy Award for her role portrayal of Mary in Precious, has spoken on this topic numerous times, and her views on infidelity have left many puzzled.  But despite what others think, the comedian said her marriage won’t be broken up by an indiscretion no matter how many times Sidney may step out.

"What if it’s 20 times?" Mo proposed, accordin to the New York Daily News. "So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband."
The Oscar-nominated actress isn’t too concerned about Sidney straying, though, because he’s got a bit of a fetish. "He loves the hairy legs," she revealed,"and if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go."

If that’s all it takes to keep her hubby happy, Mo’s got him covered. The comedian proudly showed off her hairy legs on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.  And Sidney doesn’t have to worry about his wife doing away with the fur because Mo’Nique told Barbara that she only ever tried shaving her legs once.

“It was so uncomfortable and painful. I said never again would I do that to myself," the funnylady shared.
According to a poll we recently did, about 13 percent of users completely agree with her stance on body hair, voting that they just “let it grow.”
