Keri Hilson has become the latest young celeb to ink an endorsement deal with Avon.
The singer-songwriter will be repping, not just one, but two scents for the beauty brand. Avon announced that she’ll be doing ad campaigns for Imari Seduction and its standard scent Imari.
While you might usually gloss over Imari, an Oriental floral, in your mom’s Avon catalog, the company hopes that getting Keri to back the product might attract younger consumers. Imari Seduction puts a fruitier spin on the floral fragrance with its notes of plum and purple orchid. The scent is rounded out with hints of vanilla, amber and musk.
Endorsing the perfumes seemed like a great deal to Keri, who is all about her eau de toilettes. “I’m a real fragrance person. I love to wear fragrance because it makes you feel so much more beautiful,” she said.
Miss Keri’s face will be splashed across the pages of Avon’s catalogs starting this August. We fully expect that she’ll be working some stunning looks as she’s also set to become the face of Avon’s Color collection.
