Detroit’s homeboy Eminem has tossed away the false speculations of a Relapse 2 and is pushing ahead with Recovery.

Despite the leaked statements from Em and his many affiliates over the past year, the chart-topping emcee has cleared the noise by stating there will not be a sequel to his successful Relapse album. The statements leaked via Twitter have confused many fans as to what Mr. Mathers has up his sleeve.

Instead, Eminem revealed to us all that the new title to his highly anticipated album would be Recovery,
    Billboard.com reports.

“As I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album," Em said. "The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title."

Recovery is set for release on June 22
