‘Fantasia’ gets second season

Singer Fantasia Barrino will be returning to VH1 with a second season of “Fantasia For Real.”
The network has announced that it will again follow Fantasia and her family (yes, even Teenie). Next season we’ll see the singer as she gets closer to the release of her next album.
The first season was met with mixed reviews: Some people loved that they got such an intimate look at the lives of Fannie and her family. Others thought there was too much drama to make the show watchable.
Like it, or not, season two of “Fantasia For Real” will debut this fall, and S2S will most definitely be watching.

VH1 is also adding Chad Ochocinco to its roster with the tentatively titled “Ocho Cinco.” The series will see what happens as the NFL player tries to find happiness off the field.  The show premieres July 11, so that leads us to wonder whether cameras will catch him during practice for “Dancing With the Stars.”

And we’re really excited to see “Diary of a Hip Hop Girlfriend,” which will take another look into the lives of women involved with famous men. Viewers will get to see whether living a life filled with Louis V and bling is really all its cracked up to be. It’s good to see that VH1 is branching out from the “[Insert Sport Here] Wives” franchise. The title also rings a little more true too.

“Diary of a Hip Hop Girlfriend” will follow four women who have yet to be cast. We’re already ruling out Tiny, though.
