Naomi Campbell is trying to be good, but that went right out the window during a recent interview.
Usmagazine.com reports that the supermodel punched a camera as she stormed out of an ABC News sit-down. The interview got heated when the reporter asked if rumors that Naomi had received a large, uncut “blood diamond” from deposed Liberian dictator Charles Taylor were true.
"I didn’t receive a blood diamond and I’m not going to speak about that," she said before making a hasty exit. She struck a camera being held by a producer on the way out.
International prosecutors are trying Charles for crimes against humanity over allegations that he killed and disfigured thousands of people in Sierra Leone from 1997 to 2001. Naomi has refused to take part in the trial.
Actress Mia Farrow pointed out Naomi’s link to Charles when she told ABC that the model boasted about getting a “huge diamond” from him.
As of press time, Naomi’s lawyer had not offered comment on the rumors or the recent incident with ABC News.
