Jim Jones is taking time to educate New York city students about the ins and outs of the music business.
Next week, the rapper will take 25 high school kids under his wing for Music Business 101, a six-week course aimed at giving students a balanced look at the industry from the boardroom to the stage.
The lecture series, which Jim will lead, is being offered by the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance. The course will be held every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., class will also feature a number of guest speakers.
Sessions, starting April 27, will feature a number of guest speakers. After class lets out every week, Jim will host similar lectures at Fordham University.
