Chris Brown is calling his fellow Virginians to action with a benefit concert next month.
The singer, currently serving probation, will headline the Virginia Stand Up! concert on May 15 at Virginia Commonwealth University. Proceeds will go to help the continued relief effort in Haiti as well as a outreach programs in his native Richmond, Virginia, and the Central Virginia Food Bank.
"The images I see on television, both in my community and in Haiti, remind me that everyone has to do their part,” said Chris.
Breezy will be closing the benefit, but Live Nation has lined up lots more acts sure to have music lovers running for the box office. Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Ryan Leslie, and T-Pain are all scheduled to perform during the show.
The CVFB encourages concertgoers to bring donations of non-perishable food items. Specifically, they looking for the following items: peanut butter, rice and pasta, hot and cold cereals, tuna, canned fruits and canned vegetables.
