The Style Network has decided to spice up their programming with a reality show about Mel B and her family.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Style has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the show, slated to debut Labor Day weekend. The show will follow Mel, her husband Stephen, and all their daughters during the reality sitcom.
The series, currently titled “The Mel B Project,” is supposed to showcase Mel as “the ultimate new milllenium mom.” If she’s not working on a series or rehearsing lines, the former Spice Girl is making sure she’s getting plenty if time with her hubby and the kids.
"Mel B is confident, hilarious and outrageously entertaining," said Style president Salaam Coleman Smith "Style is all about transformations, and we love that Mel has evolved her image and sought new challenges throughout her career.”
Mel will be in good company on the Style Network considering the channel is all about dynamic divas. Style is home to shows like “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” and “Clean House,” starring fellow “Dancing With the Stars” alum Niecy Nash.
