Details of a 911 call made before Gary Coleman’s death Friday have been released.
The unexpected 911 call made from Gary Coleman’s home right before his death, has created controversy within the media. According to the New York Daily News, the deceased child star’s ex-wife, Shannon Price made the call, telling the chilling details to an emergency dispatcher.
"His head is bloody,” Shannon reportedly said. “I don’t know what happened. Send someone quick because I don’t even know if he’s going to be alive. There’s a lot of blood on the floor. …He was like bubbling at the mouth."
Nonetheless, there is still some speculations on how Gary ended up on his deathbed. Police reports state that he suffered a 1 to 1.25-inch laceration on his head from the accident causing his brain to hemorrhage. But, the big question is whether Shannon had the authority to take him off life support.
According to Us Magazine, The Utah Valley Regional Medical Center stated: "Mr. Coleman had completed an Advanced Health Care Directive that granted Shannon Price permission to make medical decisions on his behalf if he was unable to do so."
Gary began losing consciousness last Thursday afternoon, and Shannon made the decision to take Gary off life support Friday morning.
