Leonard Rowe is dissecting the circumstances leading to Michael Jackson’s tragic death last June in a new book.
Leonard, a concert promoter and old friend of the Jackson family, thinks the public hasn’t been told the truth about who and what killed the King of Pop. In What Really Happened To Michael Jackson, he argues that there was a conspiracy to bring Michael down in order to profit from his death.
The book features a chapter on Dr. Conrad Murray, the last doctor to care for Michael. The cardiologist is accused in Michael’s death, but it was recently decided that he would be allowed to keep his medical license while awaiting trial in the case, TMZ.com reports.
Leonard even sheds a different light on what would have been his 50-show run at London’s O2 Arena, painting it as yet another scheme to overwork Michael. Although the pop icon made a deal to do a series of shows at the venue, Leonard argues that he didn’t greenlight such a long run.
The tell-all author recalls that Michael even said, “I never agreed to do 50 shows, I only agreed to do 10. When I woke up one morning they had sold out 50 shows without my knowledge.”
To prove his point, Leonard includes a copy of Michael’s contract with AEG Live in the book. Check out a couple of the pages below.
