LL Cool J brings new artists to iTunes

LL Cool J is giving emerging artists a shot at fame through a new deal with iTunes.
You want fame? Well, fame costs!  But thanks to LL’s label Boomdizzle it doesn’t have to break your bank.

LL has linked up with iTunes for a feature package called Want2BFamous?, which allows new artists to upload their material for the one-time fee of $8.99.  Under the deal, artists get to increase their distribution to a worldwide audience and keep all of the royalties for their music.

"This is an amazing opportunity for new and independent artists to have their music instantly heard and purchased by fans worldwide," LL said in a press release. “BoomDizzle is changing the way music is created, promoted, and distributed. Our mission is to continue to provide worldwide exposure to the next generation of talented artists. I want my creative torch to light theirs.”
And LL’s label is rewarding artists for their hustle. Each week, the top seller will get a little extra shine in the Boomdizzle Artist Spotlight. The lucky act will be featured on the Boomdizzle homepage and a social media blast. The label will also help generate some buzz about the artist through a customized press release.
