50 Cent may cancel ‘Black Magic’

Black Magic was intended to be 50 Cent’s fifth album, but he may not release it at all.
50 Cent revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone Brasil that he might not be releasing the project, which is already half done.
“I’ve written an album that is called Black Magic, but I am not sure it will be my next album," he said. The rapper went on to explain that for the upcoming album he had been experimenting with different genres of music.
“I was playing with different song structures, music from different genres like rock music. I did some things that were a little dance inspired, the tempo was higher,” 50 said.
Since 50’s returned to America from his global tour, the music that he is currently writing might not work. “I started writing different material that don’t quite fit that concept,” 50 explained, adding he’s been inundated with material that American producers were holding onto for him.
50 compared the Black Magic album to Eminem’s latest release, stating, “To give you an example, Eminem’s Recovery album, he had Relapse and Relapse 2. I recorded with him on part two, but because I was on tour when he was doing Recovery we didn’t get a chance to work on the album but he re-wrote the album.”
