Ne-Yo cuts Chris some slack

It’s time that the rest of the world forgives Chris Brown, according to Ne-Yo.
In an interview with “Access Hollywood,” Ne-Yo discussed Chris’ image and admitted that he feels that the rest of the world should forgive Chris, the same way that Rhianna has.
“I look at it like this, if Rhianna can forgive him the rest of the world should be able to forgive him,” Ne-Yo said.
In the interview, Ne-Yo said that, to the best of his knowledge, Rhianna has moved on and gotten past what happened between her and Chris back in February of 2009.
“She understands that there is nothing to be gained by holding a grudge,” Ne-Yo explained. “She has moved on from it, so why can’t the rest of the world?”
He reminded listeners that forgiveness is divine, and that at the very least Chris should be given the opportunity to show the world that he has learned from his mistakes.
“You have to give a person an opportunity to learn from their mistakes,” Ne-Yo implored but gave the go ahead to not forgive Chris so easily, if the incident happens again.“If something crazy happens again, then by all means, black ball him from the world if you feel like it.”
However, Ne-Yo did add that if Chris can show that he’s truly changed, he should be given a second chance.
“If he can genuinely show the world that he is apologetic, and he has learned from it and it never happens again, what’s the big deal with forgiving this guy?” Ne-Yo asked. “What is the big deal with giving this guy a second chance?”
