Sharon Leal gets rowdy for CW

Sharon Leal is heading back to school for her new show on The CW.

Sharon will star in the dramedy “Hellcats” as Vanessa Lodge, the head coach of a championship college cheerleading squad. She pushes her team to be the best because, as a former Hellcat herself, she’s got a legacy to uphold. The team’s rep is well intact when one of her stars is sidelined by an injury and she’s sent scrambling for a replacement before her team has to drop out of nationals.

Vanessa’s drive to win the national championship is fueled by more than the prospect of being #1. If her Hellcats don’t take home that super sweet trophy, she’s out of a job. Lucky for her, a more-than-qualified student named Marti Perkins wants to be part of the team, which offers squad members a scholarship.

With one fire seemingly smothered, Vanessa’s just got to maintain balance of her love/hate relationship with the school’s football coach. Find out if she can keep it all together when “Hellcats” premieres on the CW September 8 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.

    1. I love Ms. Leal, however, I will not be watching “Hellcats” this fall. She was very good in “Why did I Get Married Too”. Is it just me, or is this falls lineup on the CW not good@ all.
