A lawsuit alleges that the idea for Lottery Ticket may not have been original.
According to a report from TMZ.com, a screenwriter has filed a lawsuit claiming his agent ripped off his idea and gave it to one of his other clients.
Tom Huang filed his suit on Wednesday. In the suit he claims that in 2004 he had an idea that he wrote a treatment for. He alleges in the claim that his agent Brad Kaplan stole the idea and gave it to another client.
He claims that the other client Erik White went on to write and direct Lottery Ticket.
