If Wyclef Jean becomes the president of Haiti, he wants dual citizenship for everyone in his country.
According to a report to the Associated Press, Wyclef has been talking about his planned agenda if he is elected president.
Wyclef said that if he is elected, he will work on Haiti’s constitution. The changes he’d make will allow Haitians living abroad to have dual citizenship, which would allow them to vote.
Wyclef saidthat Haitians living abroad “should have the right to vote in their country,” especially since they send billions in remittances to family members.
