Rihanna has seen the light and returned to the more upbeat sound that made her popular in the first place.
The singer debuted her club-tailored track “Only Girl (In The World)” today on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. If this new single is any indication, Rihanna is so over the dark and moody phase that dominates her current album Rated R.
“Only Girl (In The World),” produced by Stargate, is the lead single off of Rihanna’s upcoming release LOUD!. The synthesizer-heavy track reminds us of “Please Don’t Stop The Music” and Kelly Rowland’s “Commander.”
We can’t wait to hear what Rihanna has to offer on the rest of LOUD!, but there’s no telling how long it could take before the album makes it to stores and online retailers. No official release date for the album yet.
