It was only a matter of time: Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are bringing their two-man huddle to TV.
Home audiences won’t have a chance to miss the onscreen antics of the NFL players, both of whom recently wrapped seasons for their respective reality shows. Versus has announced that Chad and Terrell have landed a half-hour talk show on the network.
Starting October 12, “The T.Ocho Show” will air every Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. EST. As a warm-up for the chat series, Chad and Terrell are doing their own segments on Versus’ “The Daily Line Show.”
While Chad hasn’t said much on what he and Terrell will be talking about on “The T.Ocho Show,” T.O. told USA Today that viewers shouldn’t expect the average sports coverage.
"Some guys get on TV shows and put on their media hats and turn their back on players," T.O. said. "I’m not going to be a brownnoser for nobody. This is something probably a lot of people don’t want to see. There’ll be jealous people who’ll criticize it, just like they criticized my reality show. I don’t want to get into a race issue, but when you look at the media talking about (player) holdouts, it’s usually about African Americans. When do you see Caucasians shown just trying to get their money? Why is that never talked about? We’ll stick out our chests and advocate for guys trying to get paid for what they deserve."
