K-Ci and JoJo want to make one thing very clear about their show: it’s not reality rehab.

Promos for their new show on TV One, “K-Ci and JoJo: Come Clean” had us thinking that the series was about the musical brothers were trying to break an addiction to alcohol. From what they tell us nothing could be further from the truth.

Although, the brothers do address their drinking problem, there is so much more to the show than that.

“It’s more important that we’re trying to better ourselves,” K-Ci recently explained to S2S. “We have made a lot of mistakes in our life and we had to get out business right. That’s what this reality show is talking about. That means coming clean with business and personal issues.”

Part of the process to get themselves tuned up was getting fit. That’s where a trainer AJ Johnson came in handy. In her effort to whip the brothers into shape, she raided their fridge and cleaned out all the junk. She replaced it with K-Ci and JoJo called “rabbit and bird food”— i.e. fresh vegetables.

AJ also got the brothers into some new forms of exercise just to get them more active. While the K-Ci and JoJo didn’t stick with everything they she taught them they have retained a couple healthy habits.

“I’m gonna be honest with you. Some of the things she had us doing were wild,” JoJo said. “ What I did learn from that is it feels good to be in shape, or to try to be in shape, so I’ve started walking. I walk about four or five miles every other day.”

To see more of their progress be sure to catch "K-Ci and Jo Jo: Come Clean" every Tuesday night on TV One.
