‘Dancing With the Stars’ recap: November 8

Couple: Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer
    Dance: Jive

This week Kyle reminded us why we love him: He’s probably the best all-around performer left on the show. He and Lacey had to perform an "instant dance" where they learned a routine, but had no clue what song would be their backdrop.
While that prospect might scare most competitors, Kyle thought it was a fair way to make the competition more interesting. "Everyone has the same problem, and it’s all about who comes out on top," he said
Lacey wanted to be sure that her partner was absolutely unshakeable! Enter professional jackass Steve-O, who threw everything he had at the Disney star.
"After our crazy rehearsal, no matter what music we get, I should be okay," a flustered, but confident Kyle said.
Not surprisingly, Kyle was more than okay as he jumped and jived all over the dance floor.

Len enjoyed what Kyle did, but he wasn’t bowled over by the technique, but he told Kyle not to get too upset about that.
"Don’t worry if I have anything negative to say, these two were going crazy," Len said, referring to his colleagues on the judges’ panel. "I would have liked to see a little more finesse here and there."
Len was right because Bruno couldn’t contain himself during his critique. "That was top-of-the-league for entertainment and creativity. You didn’t lose a beat!" he shouted.
"That was an instant dance? It was like that song was made for you," Carrie Ann exclaimed. "That was by far the most fun I’ve had as a viewer, as a judge, this whole season
Find out if those reviews, and a score of 29 for the night, are enough to keep Kyle in step tonight when ABC airs "Dancing With the Stars: the Results" tonight at 9 p.m.
