‘Dancing With the Stars’ recap: November 15

Couple: Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer

No matter what, you can always tell that Kyle has a great time when he gets out on the floor. That was never more true than this week when he get to turn out a solo for his Samba.

Kyle’s Samba was a little slow for our liking, but he executed a decent dance. And it had the key element that the audience has come to love about him: personality.

Kyle may not be the most experienced stepper — or the most precise — on the show, but he always knows how to get the crowd

 up on their feet.

Len liked the routine okay, but he loves that Kyle is the consummate entertainer when it comes time to compete.

“You’ve had more bounce to the ounce than anyone else this season,” Len pointed after saying that he’s pretty sure that the Disney star has a “bionic bum.”

Bruno shouted that Kyle’s a “bouncing bundle of joy” and a natural at the Samba, which is all about having a great time. If there’s anything we’ve learned this season, it’s that Kyle always brings a party to the floor.

Carrie Ann added that she thought Kyle brought all elements of a great performance together perfectly this week.
The judges loved his work, and gave him 29 points for his efforts. Kyle got a little more serious for his second dance of the night.

We weren’t quite sure what to expect with Kyle and Lacey’s Argentine Tango, but he definitely held his own this time. We liked it way better than his last attempt at this dance a couple weeks back.

“You are a star,” Len stated. “In 11 season, I don’t think anyone has ever come out and performed with so much attack and so much enthusiasm as you do.”

Bruno echoed that opinion, saying, “Whatever happens, you are season 11’s Mr. Charisma.”

Carrie Ann said Kyle, who scored 29 points again, reminded her of Emmitt Smith, who won his season of “DWTS.” Hmmm we wonder if she’s making a prediction about who’s heading home with the mirrorball.

We’ll have to find out if her premonitions are right next week, but first Kyle has to make it through to the finals. To see if he’ll make it to the final three, tune into ABC when airs “Dancing With the Stars: the Results” at 9 p.m.
