There’s word that the Black Eyed Peas are set to add some urban swag to Super Bowl XLV.
A source close to the NFL let it slip to the Dallas Morning News that the Peas will be headlining the show at Cowboy Stadium on February 6. While the NFL usually announces the half-time act around this time of year, the organization hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
In fact, neither the Black Eyed Peas nor the NFL have made a comment.
If the insider is to be believed, BEP would be the first urban act to snag the revered gig since 2004. This exciting news comes days before the group is set to drop its new album, The Beginning, which hits stores and online retailers on November 30.
