Judge orders Wesley Snipes to surrender

A Florida judge has ordered Wesley Snipes to start his prison sentence before the holidays roll around.

Despite his attempt to buy more time, Wesley is still set to begin his three-year prison sentence for tax evasion tomorrow. TMZ.com reports that a judge denied his request to begin his sentence on January 6.

The Blade trilogy filed a motion stating that he didn’t want to go prison "in the middle of the holiday season” because he has four young kids.

The Florida judge denied the request, pointing out that Wesley has managed to hold off on going to prison for more than two-and-a-half years. As the court official sees it, Wesley’s had "all of that time to place his affairs in order."

The judge also encouraged the actor to man up and finally begin his sentence because "The sooner he begins his sentence, the sooner it will end."
