Jazmine Sullivan has revealed that she may need a little time off.

    The “10 Seconds” singer announced
via Twitter earlier today that she’s stepping out of the studio—at least for now.

“I’m making an official announcement that I am taking a break from music,” she tweeted to her 91,000+ followers. “I’m trying to figure out who I am…w/out a mike, paper or pen. I promised myself when it wasn’t fun anymore I wouldn’t do it. And here I am.”

Jazmine’s no quitter, though. She assured fans that she’s just putting her music career on pause as opposed to permanently leaving the spotlight. “I’m not saying I won’t ever sing again in my life bcuz I don’t believe that,” she explained. “But in this moment… rt now… I got some things to figure out.”

The siren also thanked fans for all of their support and helping to boost her ego over the years. Now, however, she’s looking to build and maintain some self-confidence.

“The truth is that I have to believe in me whether you all do or not. And that’s what I’m looking for. That belief in myself. Me. I,” she wrote this morning. “I love us. Thanks for being here for me and riding with me on this journey. Let us continue.”
Jazmine quickly removed much of her tweeted statement shortly after it went live.
