Diddy thinks President Barack Obama could do better; Jessica White lands a reality show; Bob Johnson gets into the hotel business and more!
Diddy criticizes Obama!?
Oh, no he didn’t! Sean "Diddy" Combs thinks President Barack Obama has a lot of room for improvement. He told The Source that he wants the president to "do better."
According to Diddy, he prays for Obama and believes in him, but obviously, he’s not completely satisfied by what the president has accomplished so far. Although Diddy offered the bit of advice, he thinks Obama has a higher power to answer to.
"I feel there was a promise made to God to look after people that was less fortunate and [many] of those people are African-American," he said.
Jessica White lands reality show
Jessica White is getting camera ready as tape is set to roll on her upcoming reality show.
The New York Post reports that the model will share her eventful and dramatic life with the Oxygen Network. Starting tomorrow, cameras will follow Jessica as she lives the fab life, beginning with fashion week.
Jessica’s lawyer told the Post, "The show is based on her life and some of her colorful friends, almost like ‘Entourage.’"
If the show is nearly as dramatic as the tabloids report that her life is, then Jessica’s show should be good TV. The model, who dated Sean Penn last year, was arrested after a catfight outside of a New York City nightclub in October.
Jessica claims she’s innocent in the scuffle because she was provoked.
Bob loves New York
Bob Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television, is growing his empire. The former cable magnate is expanding his hotel interests with the purchase of the Doubletree Metropolitan.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Johnson has struck a $355 million deal for the structure, making it the third he’s purchased in New York since 2008.
“These assets are compliant with our investment strategy to buy high-caliber real estate,” said Robert L. Johnson Development President Thomas J. Baltimore Jr.

Cameron Diaz snitches on Snoop
Talk about putting people on blast! Cameron Diaz shares with the world that she is pretty sure she “bought weed” from Snoop Dogg in high school.
Cameron was a guest on “Lopez Tonight” when host George Lopez asked her about her upbringing in Long Beach. She mentioned that she attended high school with Snoop and knew of him as provider of the "recreational" herb.
Assuming her claim is true, maybe it’s not that huge of a revelation, since Snoop is a self-admitted fan of the chronic, but hopefully, no police investigations will be opened thanks to the “Charlie’s Angels” star.
