Meagan Good hit the scene in Los Angeles to introduce the world to her new singing group, the H.E.L.L.O. Girls.
When she first announced her foray into the music business, many thought Meagan would be a solo artist. Maybe now she’s figured it’s more fun with friends.
Although it’s been known that Meagan has been in the studio, she’s now making appearances as part of the new girl group.
H.E.L.L.O. stands for Highly Electric Lethal Lavish Oh … I Adore Her.
Reportedly, the group members go by the nicknames, Goldie, Bullet, Kitty and Cheeba (Meagan).
The four have been seen making the rounds at various events and recently showed up at the L.A. premiere of The Booster Club.
Meagan described the group’s music as “a punky, girl grunge band … like the Beastie Boys meets Vanity 6.”
Hopefully, music fans will hear a track or two from the ladies soon.
There’s a very short list of Black-actresses-turned-successful-music-artists. Maybe Meagan will be among the first to make it big after flipping the script.
For those who are fans of Meagan’s acting, there’s nothing to indicate that she’ll be giving that up. She has a reoccurring role on the hit sitcom “The Game,” the highest-rated Black sitcom currently on air.
