Has Jay-Z been Beyoncé’s only lover?

In a recent interview, the 29-year-old Grammy Award-winning songstress said she only had one relationship before Jay, and that ended while she was still a teenager.

"People would be surprised as to the lack of experiences I’ve had. When I was 12 or 13 I had my first boyfriend, and he was my boyfriend until I was 17. At that age, that was a long time. I’ve always been very loyal and a little more mature,” she said.

"Though I was too young for it to really be a boyfriend – we didn’t live together, we didn’t, you know . . . That was my only experience with a guy, and since then I’ve only had one other boyfriend in my life – Jay."

Beyoncé, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008, has been criticized by some and praised by others for flaunting her sexuality onstage and in music videos in which she is often scantily clad or wearing clothes so tight they leave little to the imagination. (To be fair, though, she usually wears stockings or flesh-colored netting underneath her costumes, so she’s a little more covered up than it might appear).

However, there have never been any valid rumors about Beyoncé with other men either before or during her relationship with Jay, and what guy would keep that morsel of information to himself?
