The imagery on the cover of Lil Kim’s Black Friday mixtape subtly suggests that her feud with Young Money femcee Nicki Minaj is nowhere near being over.
The cover shows an animated Kim holding a sword with blood on its blade and splattered all around her. On the floor in front of her, is what looks to be a decapitated head with bright pink hair.
True, there is no actual image of Nicki on the cover of the album, but taking into consideration the ongoing beef between the two artists, it’s not a far stretch of the imagination to assume the displayed massacre is that of the Harajuku Barbie.
The Black Friday mixtape has been available since Monday via PayPal here.
According to Kim, the album is selling well.
“Thanks to you guys!! #lilkimblackfridaymixtape sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours which made me the #1 seller on paypal ever =) !!! THANK U! RT"
Nicki’s Pink Friday recently broke records of its own, though: reports estimate sales at 376,000 during debut week, which made it the highest-selling album ever by a woman in its first week.
