The tourist attraction in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre is normally reserved for entertainers in the music, TV, film or radio industry. Although Kobe doesn’t fit into any of those categories and denies having aspirations to act, he does entertain on the court.

The honor was bestowed upon Kobe during NBA All-Star Weekend and Black History Month.

The slab of cement includes Kobe’s signature, handprints and a cast of the Nikes he wore.
