Southern belle Phaedra Parks minds her manners and keeps it classy on "Wendy Williams."
Phaedra refused to select one fellow housemate to be kicked off the show when asked by talk-show host Wendy Williams.
“We need everyone to make it spicy,” said Phaedra, who also refused to share whether she’s Team Kim or Team NeNe. “I’m Team Phaedra.”
Phaedra’s objectivity is impressive considering her verbal altercation on a radio show last week. Phaedra and cast member NeNe Leakes bickered over the airwaves about whether or not they’d known each other while both lived in their hometown of Athens, Ga.
Phaedra, who recently said she’s interested in buying a funeral home, clarified that she will never stop practicing law and spoke about when Whitney Houston came calling for Phaedra’s services.
Whitney called after Bobby’s “alleged domestic situation.” Phaedra said she put down the collard greens to give Whitney her full attention.
Phaedra, an entertainment attorney, has plenty of faith in her own legal ability.
When speaking about her husband Apollo, who spent five years in jail, Phaedra made sure to note that she did not represent him.
“He would have never gone to jail” if I’d been his lawyer, she said.
Although Wendy admitted not caring much for Phaedra when the season first premiered, she said that things changed once Phaedra’s baby boy was born.
The two are apparently on good terms now, and Wendy even presented the southern belle with a gift: a bright orange hat by Luke Song, who also designed Aretha Franklin’s inauguration headpiece.
However, Wendy said she is no longer a fan of Phaedra’s friend, Dwight Eubanks, who appears on the show. She’s now Team Lawrence, referencing Sheree Whitfield’s hair stylist-turned pop singer.
