One thing we’ve learned from Will Smith, Ice-T, Queen Latifah and other ‘80s hip-hop artists is that if you want to stay relevant, branch out.
Take note, Lil Kim.
Sean “Diddy” Combs has definitely been taking lessons from those who paved the way and has expanded his empire to include clothes, reality TV and more.
Now the Grammy winner is focusing on his acting career with a new deal with CAA (Creative Artists Agency).
“I’m very happy+proud to announce that Ive signed w/ CAA as an ACTOR. GOD IS GREAT!!!” Diddy tweeted.
Of course, Diddy is no stranger to acting. He starred in the stage play Raisin in the Sun and alongside Oscar-winner Halle Berry in Monster’s Ball.
Despite those acting credentials, Diddy was reportedly rejected when attempting to attend a CAA party following this year’s Golden Globes. Of course, he didn’t leave the party quietly. Witnesses claim the mogul threw a bit of a fit.
Hopefully, with this new contract, Diddy won’t be denied access again.
