Oprah Winfrey denies Rosie O’Donnell feud

Oprah Winfrey is denying rumors that she and Rosie O’Donnell are at odds.

It seems like the media maven is spending the final season of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” mending fences and reconnecting with people. One person she doesn’t have to make up with, though, is Rosie.

“There’s no feud between Rosie and me,” Oprah assured via Twitter yesterday, dispelling rumors that the two have argued about Rosie’s forthcoming series on OWN. “We haven’t even had a discussion about her new show.”

OWN announced last month that Rosie would be hosting an hourlong special after the debut of “Becoming Chaz,” a documentary about the gender reassignment of Chastity Bono, who now goes by the name Chaz. Reportedly, Rosie is also getting her own series, “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” According to PopEater.com, Rosie is envisioning a political show, while Oprah wants it to be a talk show.

O admitted that all this alleged animosity with other women in the media industry is starting to get on her last good nerve. “I get so sick of people trying to create fights and fueds  when women are in business. Don’t buy into it,” Oprah tweeted.

This season alone, Oprah has made up with her The Color Purple co-star Whoopi Goldberg and, more recently, life coach Iyanla Vanzant.
