Watching Kanye West’s neon-heavy video for “All Of The Lights” could be hazardous to your health!
YouTube has decided to pull Kanye’s clip because it has the potential to cause seizures. The shocking discovery was made by a United Kingdom-based group called Epilepsy Action, which analyzed “All Of The Lights” using the “Harding FPA” machine.
“This machine looks at whether video footage is likely to cause seizures,” Epilepsy Action explained in a statement. “We have today had confirmation that it contains material that may cause seizures in some people with photosensitive epilepsy.”
The test found the rate at which lights flashed in the video could, in fact, trigger a seizure. The group states that in addition to being yanked from YouTube, “All Of The Lights” has been banned on UK television. Epilepsy Action doesn’t plan to stop there, however. “We have also contacted MTV and other TV stations to make them aware of the issue,” a rep for the organization stated.
The video is still available on Vevo.com. Watch it at your own risk below.
Kanye doesn’t seem too concerned about the ban, as his focus seems to be on dispensing advice.
“An abortion can cost a ballin’ n***a up to 50gs maybe a 100,” Kanye tweeted this week. “Gold diggin’ b*tches be getting pregnant on purpose. #STRAPUP my n***as!”
He later clarified that he’s not speaking from personal experience, stating, “It ain’t happen to me but I know people.”
