Are Oscar and Mo’ beefing?
Last year, Mo’Nique made it clear that she was unfazed by all the Oscar hoopla. She received some criticism for not campaigning for the trophy like other actors. As she put it, her performance spoke for itself.
Apparently, Mo’Nique’s tune hasn’t changed much. While it’s tradition that a pervious Oscar winner present the night’s biggest awards for Best Actor and Best Actress the following year, Mo’Nique was not in the building Sunday night.
However, Mo’ was on hand to announce the nominees.
Unlike most nominees and winners, Mo’Nique has a nightly talk show that takes up quite a bit of her time. She was reportedly in Atlanta on Monday taping two episodes of her late-night show.
