Kim Kardashian releases single

For Kim Kardashian critics who claim she has no actual talent to justify her fame, she’s responded in song.

Kim’s debut single, simply titled “Jam (Turn It Up),” made its world premiere today on the “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” radio show.

Kim, who stars in a reality show and has her own fragrance, said singing is definitely out of her comfort zone. When it came time for her song to hit the airwaves, the anxious soloist reached out to the track’s producer, The Dream, for support.

“I actually am really nervous. I was in the bathroom trying to call The Dream,” she said, admitting that she needed a pep talk. He didn’t pick up the phone, though.

Luckily, Kim’s big sister Kourtney was in the studio to lend some moral support.

“She said she was going to do it for fun. People have been asking her to do a song for years,” Kourtney said. “It was like the right time, the right moment. We were in New York. Kim was feeling a little wild…”

The proceeds for the song go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
