    Beyoncé joins Obama obesity battle

Beyoncé is joining forces with Michelle Obama and The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) to help kids get moving.

The “Single Ladies” singer has remixed one of her songs for middle schoolers as part of the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout.” Kids across the country will perform a routine to the as-yet unidentified song on May 3. Bey will teach the students all the steps in an instructional video, which she personally recorded.

“I am excited to be part of this effort that addresses a public health crisis,” Bey said in a statement. “First Lady Michelle Obama deserves credit for tackling this issue directly, and I applaud the NAB Education Foundation for trying to make a positive difference in the lives of our schoolchildren.”

    Chanel Iman gains weight

Model Chanel Iman is packing on the pounds because she is tired of being skinny. The Victoria’s Secret Angel told UsMagazine.com yesterday that’s she trying to gain weight in order to better fill out her frame.

“I eat to gain,” she said while promoting The Incredible by Victoria’s Secret bra. “I’m a big believer in having hips, butt and thighs!”

As part of her attempt to get into shape, Chanel said she’s chowing down on “everything from steak to mashed potatoes.” She’s also hitting the gym to make sure the weight shows up in all the right places.

“It’s very difficult for me because I’m naturally skinny,” she said. “I have to put on a lot of weight and work out to gain muscle. I love curves and being sexy.”

    J. Hud’s raising a star?

Jennifer Hudson has her hands full when it comes to her son David Otunga Jr., who is already showing signs of being bred for the limelight.

“He’s such a little entertainer,” Jennifer told E! News. “Everywhere he goes, he charms everybody.”

Most recently, the 19-month-old worked his magic on Sandra Bullock during the rehearsals for the 2011 Academy Awards.

“She and my son became the biggest buddies, so they hung out the entire time,” J. Hud recalled. “When I came back into the room, Sandra’s like, ‘Oh my god, he kissed me. And he was kissing my hand!’”

But on whether or not baby David gets into show business, Jen said, “It’s all up to him. I’ll tell him like my mother told me: ‘As long as you’re doing what you love to do, mama’s always happy and proud of you.’”
